Sydney Marathon Joins World Major Series

Sydney has been named the seventh Abbott World Marathon Major, joining prestigious races in New York, London, Boston, Tokyo, Berlin, and Chicago. This recognition is expected to boost the New South Wales economy by over $73 million in the next three years and an additional $300 million over the next decade. The marathon’s scenic route includes landmarks like the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.
